Gnanam Sellathurrai is the Founder & CEO of Forttune Channels (Pvt) Ltd and the leader of Forttune. He is responsible for the full spectrum of operation and profitability of the organization. He is a Distribution specialist of Computer hardware products, Especially PCs & Notebooks. He founded Forttune after serving Key distribution companies in his 20+ years of employment.
With his leadership and operational excellence, even though the company was started during the COVID-19 pandemic inception in 2020, slowly got into momentum recorded a remarkable revenue with strong business partner engagements. The company continues to grow steadily with a strong presence in the market.
Gnanam is extensively working on building the company’s revenue by building partnerships with various potential brands to the company’s product portfolio.
Gnanam earned his Master of Business Administration from Mahathma Gandhi University, India.
He has served as the Business Manager at Redington SL (Pvt) Ltd, then joined Tech Pacific Lanka (Pvt) Ltd as Head of Sales & Marketing, he was the General Manager and handling the IT Distribution business at Samson Information Technologies (Pvt) Ltd a member of DSI Samson Group. Finally served as the General Manager at Engenuity (Pvt) Ltd for Distribution Business Unit and then drove the TELCO business as the Director Operations at Engenuity Pvt Ltd.
Further, Gnanam is an active contributor to the IT Industry, and he is Executive Council Member of FITIS (Federation of Information Technology Industry in Sri Lanka) Hardware Chapter for more than 6 years and served many positions and led and driven many events at FITIS.
